Today, we celebrate the men who carry more than just passengers - they carry families, dreams, responsibilities, and hope.

To every father behind the wheel, every father working long hours to provide, every father who sacrifices comfort so that his children can have a better future, we honour and salute you.

Your strength is seen in every early morning start, every late-night trip, every kilometre travelled, and every effort made to put food on the table and build a brighter tomorrow.

At HEDA, we recognise that many of our drivers are not only professionals on the road but also leaders, mentors, providers, and role models at home.

🚨 OFFICIAL PETITION FOR FAIRER BOLT DRIVER CONDITIONS 🚨

As the Hammanskraal E-Hailing Drivers Association, we are proud to launch a petition calling on Bolt South Africa to address two critical issues affecting thousands of drivers across the country.

📌 We are demanding:

✅ A review and adjustment of driver fares to reflect the current economic reality, including rising fuel prices, vehicle maintenance costs, insurance, and the general cost of living.

✅ The removal or reform of the "Wait & Save" option, which often results in drivers travelling long distances to pickups while earning reduced fares, making trips uneconomical and unsustainable.

This campaign is not against riders. It is about creating a fair and sustainable environment for the very drivers who keep the platform running every day.

A driver who is fairly compensated is able to maintain their vehicle, provide safer transportation, and deliver a better service to passengers.

We are therefore calling on all Bolt drivers, e-hailing stakeholders, passengers, and members of the public who support fairness to sign and share this petition.

Together, our voices are stronger.
Together, we can advocate for meaningful change.
