Downsizing Services We offer hands-on support for everything related to downscaling and moving home.

We will unclutter your space, identify what will fit in and suit your new home, pack up and manage the move itself, Downsizing Services offer the following services:
- decluttering before you move;
- identifying items that won't fit, aren't necessary or don't suit the new space;
- arranging for the sale or donation of unwanted items;
- packing up and then unpacking at the new home;

Moving house in the rain - a challenge for even the sturdiest and strongest. But for vulnerable or frail pensioners, it just adds another stressful dynamic into an already overwhelming situation. Which is why we always suggest to our clients that they head off to their new home, or out for breakfast at least, before the moving van arrives! Our current client is moving from a local retirement village to one in another city altogether; her 3rd move in as many years. "...A destressing ordeal...", especially dealing with all the excess clutter that had moved with her each time, the Downsizing Team had their work cut out for them!
It's taken 6 weeks of manual labour, tough love and hard decisions, but I'm confident that this time round, she'll only be moving with the essentials!
