A beautiful Sunday afternoon hike into our mountain. Steep elevation of 700m over 6km. I did not reach the saddle as I was hoping for and had to turn around to make our way down before sunset. A good air cleaner for the lungs... The turn around viewpoint was amazing though... Well done on my wife, not doing the whole distance as myself, but kept going up the mountain till I made the call to turn around. Nature is beautiful, my wife amazing. In our life we often get to obstacles, "uphills" and sometimes we want to give up. Sometimes we stumble and sometimes we fall. But with God's mercy, grace, forgiveness and with Him always by our side, we keep going in life. Our marriage bond becomming stronger, day by day. A word of encouragement to everyone out their. Remember, it's not about "myself and what I can get out of it" but "about serving my wife and support her". Don't give up on the love of your youth! You can get through the battles together and in prayer. We had to take several moments to rest, catch a breath, get some energy, talked and looked around to enjoyed the beautiful nature. Create and app those moments together at the "viewpoints", a resting place. Men, lead. I went forward at some point to see how the way looked, realizing for now it's not the right time, we are not fit enough, did not plan/prepare well enough, need more exercise, so needed to look/consider our safety and appreciate what we achieved for now.
