The majestic Simonsberg Mountain ⛰️

Standing at 1399m talk, the Simonsberg Mountain is a prominent peak in the Cape Fold Belt, a mountain range (not to be confused with the Great Escarpment) which stretches across the Western Cape from the Cederberg, all the way across to Port Elizabeth.

Thanks to intense tectonic activity and pressure in the earths crust millions of years ago, the crust buckled and folded creating the stunning mountain ranges we now know and love.

Time for walkies at Boschendal 🐾🌳

The trails on the farm side are perfect for beginner riders, runners and furry friends. Be sure to keep them on leads especially when near the other farm animals, and as always, bring along p**p packets to keep the farm as beautiful as you found it ⛰️

No bike? No problem? Permits and hard tail rental bikes can be purchased on site at the trail centre 🚲

This Saturday the Maxi Race comes to Banhoek for the Recce Run! 🏃🏽

Runners will get to explore parts of the Maxi Routes on 14km or 25km routes at their own pace. There will be a testing station to test out the latest On Shoes, guided groups, good food and as always great coffee and drinks! ☕️🍺
