During this difficult time caused by the cyclone in Sri Lanka, the United Arab Emirates has shown incredible kindness, support, and humanity.

From sending rescue teams, medical supplies, food, and essential relief items, to airlifting multiple shipments of aid — the UAE has truly stood by Sri Lanka when we needed help the most.

On behalf of all Sri Lankans, I want to express our deepest gratitude to the UAE leadership, humanitarian organisations, and the generous people of this nation.

Your support is saving lives, bringing comfort to families, and helping our country recover faster.
