Lila Norfolk, our Capesize bulk carrier, has recently completed her dry dock, with a clear focus on improving fuel efficiency and operational performance.

During the dry dock, the vessel was fitted with a combination of energy saving devices including PSF, PBCF and propeller trimming. Together, these improvements are expected to support an overall fuel saving of around 5-6% during regular operations.

A high-performance antifouling coating has also been applied to the hull to support cleaner underwater performance and long-term efficiency at sea.

A steady step forward through practical upgrades that make a measurable difference in daily vessel operations.

The vessel is now fitted with a combination of PBCF, propeller optimisation, and trimming, with a combined impact expected to deliver ~5-6% efficiency gains in regular operations.

Another step forward for our fleet efficiency journey.

Our MR tanker MV Lila Miami has completed her dry dock, where we focused on practical upgrades aimed at improving fuel performance in day to day operations.

During the docking, we installed a combination of energy-saving devices, including Propeller Swirl Fin, Propeller Boss Cap Fins, and carried out propeller trimming. Alongside this, the vessel received a high-performance antifouling coating from Nippon Paint. Based on expected performance, these measures should deliver overall fuel savings in the range of 5% to 6%.

Projects like this are part of our ongoing effort to enhance operational efficiency while keeping solutions grounded, proven, and effective.
