Havasu Falls has to be one of the most beautiful waterfalls I have never seen. A pair of plumes falling side by side as they did a freefall of 90ft. Travertine formations gave the reddish cliffs an exposed cave-like quality, while calcium carbonate deposits gave the water its turquoise blue colour.
If there is a place that epitomized a desert oasis this would probably come the closest to those fantasies.
