There’s something about South Africa that makes it very easy to fall in love with.
Maybe it’s standing at Cape Point with the ocean stretching endlessly in front of you. Maybe it’s driving along the coast, stopping whenever the view is too beautiful to simply pass by. Or maybe it’s that first morning on safari, when you realise you’re suddenly surrounded by a completely different world.
And the best part? You can experience all of this in one trip.
Spend a few days discovering Cape Town, explore the Cape Peninsula and the Winelands, enjoy incredible food and then head into the bush for a safari. South Africa gives you nature, wildlife, culture, wine, beaches and unforgettable landscapes without feeling like you have to rush from one experience to the next.
As for when to go, there really isn’t one perfect season. For safari, May to September is a great choice, while October to April is especially beautiful around Cape Town and the Winelands.
But honestly, the best time to visit South Africa is when you’re ready for a trip that gives you a little bit of everything and leaves you wanting to come back.
