🐴 Every horse deserves a happy ending. This is Mijbil’s. 🌿
After 10 years together in the UAE, made the most loving decision - to give her horse the retirement he deserved. Green fields, fresh air and a slower pace of life in the heart of Cheshire.

Mijbil had competed in Dressage and Showjumping, built an unbreakable bond with Rachael, and given everything he had. At 15, it was time for his next chapter.

Equitrans was honoured to fly Mijbil from DWC to London Stansted, and onward to his new home in Cheshire - where was waiting to welcome him.

In-flight welfare is at the heart of everything we do at Equitrans. From the moment the aircraft doors close to the second we land, our team is monitoring, hydrating and looking after every horse on board.

🫧 Fresh water is available throughout the flight. We monitor intake closely and use electrolytes to encourage drinking, especially on long-haul routes.
👁️ Our grooms check on every horse regularly during the flight, watching for signs of stress, discomfort, or health changes.
🛡️ Every flight follows strict international equine welfare standards. From bedding and ventilation to feeding schedules, nothing is left to chance.

Semen shipments: We coordinated the import of one container featuring semen from four stallions. Equitrans handled end-to-end to ensure seamless clearance and time-critical delivery.

Horse movements: Another busy month across our network with around 10 imports, just under 100 exports, and a handful of GCC road movements.
