These are the faces behind the often mysterious "𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗲."
During our recent visit to Chad, we had the privilege of spending time with the Move One team and our partners who work 24/7 to find solutions in a place where logistics is anything but simple.
Over the course of these operations, our teams have helped move 𝗺𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗼𝘀𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘃𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗰𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘀, 𝗺𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘀𝘂𝗽𝗽𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 to some of the hardest-to-reach communities in the world.
And the challenges are difficult to overstate.
Our teams and partners have operated through 𝗺𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗳𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗹𝗲 𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝘁𝘁𝗮𝗰𝗸𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗼𝘆𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝘆 𝗱𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀, 𝗲𝘅𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗺𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝗮𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝘀𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘂𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗱𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝘁𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.
Routes that are open one day can become inaccessible the next. Security conditions change. Roads disappear under floodwater. Yet the need for vaccines, nutrition, food and medicine does not stop because the route has become difficult.
Delivering critical supplies to the front lines of pandemics, conflict zones and massive refugee camps takes determination, constant problem-solving, deep local knowledge and, most importantly, 𝗴𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲.
Behind every "final mile" delivery are people making hundreds of decisions, adapting plans in real time and refusing to accept that something cannot be done simply because it is difficult.
𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗹𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗿𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗻𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗱.
What you are doing matters. You are making a real difference, every day.
