Dubai Police dazzle GITEX visitors
The 35th edition of the GITEX Technology Week, which is taking place from October 18 to 22 at the Dubai World Centre, was inaugurated -earlier today, by His Highness Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohmmad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai and Chairman of Dubai Executive Council.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan , accompanied by both His Excellency Lieutenant General Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Deputy Chief of Police and Public Security in Dubai; and His Excellency Major General Khamis Mattar Al Mazeina, Commander in Chief of Dubai Police, inaugurated Dubai Smart Police Initiative, announcing the beginning of a new era of Dubai Police Smart Services.
His Highness Sheikh Hamdan, reviewed Dubai Police's latest innovations "the smart officer", alongside 15 new smart services targeting external and internal customers.
For his part, His Excellency Al Mazeina noted that Dubai Police participation comes under the authority of Dubai Smart Government to highlight the upgrading of services provided to the public, and the providing of smart services in the easiest and fastest way possible through its applications.
Meanwhile, Colonel Khaled Nasser Al Razouqi, Director of Smart Services, explained that the new services are now available for the public, within Dubai Police Smart Applications, in addition to Apple Smart Watch.
Colonel Al Razouqi emphasized that Dubai Police pay a special attention to GITEX participation, through the partaking of 10 different departments, within Dubai Police platform.
