It means the cargo has arrived safely.

What’s behind a picture like this:

- 1.2 million tonnes moved every year
- 45 million kilometres per year
- 400 vehicles in operation across Europe
- 150,000 m² of warehouse space in Austria, Italy and Poland

A transport of superlatives: the oversized train wagon made its way from Bari, via the port of Brindisi, to Saudi Arabia – a real challenge for both people and logistics.

Due to the enormous dimensions, height, and weight, the entire route had to be planned with precision.

Of the total 1200 km, only 170 km were transported by road – the majority of the journey took place by sea with several stops.

Millimeter-precise planning, international coordination, and maximum precision made this heavy transport possible.

Bevor anything starts moving, we focus on one thing: planning certainty.

What looks simple later is the result of solid preparation:
route and time windows, permits, crane lifts and on site handling, center of gravity and load securing, responsibilities and checklists.

The better planning, coordination and documentation work together, the more controlled the ex*****on on site.

That’s why we invest time upfront: identify risks early, define clear steps and align everyone involved in advance.

Last Friday it was time for our annual Watten tournament at transport logistica. Watten is a traditional South Tyrolean card game – and this year, for the first time, we hosted it in our company canteen.

Mixed teams from all departments played with and against each other – great fun and entertainment all around. The winners took home South Tyrolean delicacies and a good bottle of wine. 🍷

Strategy, bluff and reading your partner without a word – these are the moments that truly bring a team together. Especially when emotions run high. 😄
