die weltweiten Entwicklungen haben massive Auswirkungen auf den aktuellen Treibstoffpreis, sodass wir als Post gezwungen sind, darauf zu reagieren. Im Zuge dessen und im Sinne einer offenen Kommunikation mit Ihnen, führen wir deshalb mit 1. April 2026 eine Deckelung für den Treibstoffzuschlag von 24% ein. Die Höhe des Zuschlags wird wie bisher auf Basis der aktuellen Marktpreise erhoben.
Bislang sind weitere Entwicklungen der Energiepreise nicht absehbar, wie etwa ein weiterer Anstieg des Ölpreises und generelle Beschlüsse der Regierung. Um die Planbarkeit zu gewährleisten, beobachten wir die Gesamtlage am Markt laufend und behalten uns eine Neuermittlung und Angleichung der Deckelung vor.

the global developments are having a significant impact on current fuel prices, which forces us as Austrian Post to respond accordingly. In this context, and in the spirit of transparent communication with you, we will therefore introduce a cap of 24% for the fuel surcharge as of 1. April 2026. The amount of the surcharge will be charged on the basis of current market prices.
For the time being, any further developments such as an oil price increase and general government decisions remain unforeseeable. To allow for better planning, we are constantly monitoring the overall market situation and reserve the right to determine and adjust this price cap.
