Northern Adelaide Senior College Welcome to the official Northern Adelaide Senior College page.

Northern Adelaide Senior College (previously Para West Adult Campus) is a secondary school in South Australia, exclusively for people over the age of 16. For the past 25 years, we've helped thousands of adults return to secondary school studies and successfully complete their South Australian Certificate of Education (SACE). In 2015, we will move to a refurbished building within the Elizabeth TAFE

, which will offer students greater access to public transport and upgraded facilities and equipment. We encourage friendly and positive interaction via our page, so please read our House Rules (found on the tab at the top of the page) to ensure your behaviour is appropriate. Our Outdoor Education students recently returned from an incredible camp experience in the Flinders Ranges, filled with adventure, challenge, and unforgettable memories.

On the drive up, we stopped at the beautiful Lochiel Pink Salt Lake, explored Mambray Creek and took in the amazing views from the Matthew Flinders Lookout. Day 2, Students completed a 14km bushwalk through Alligator Gorge, experiencing the incredible rock walls and unique landscape firsthand. The scenery and atmosphere made it a truly surreal and memorable experience for everyone involved. On the journey home, the group stopped at the RM Williams Monument and Bundaleer Forrest, where we found a unique short Maple walk.

We were lucky to have perfect warm weather across the camp, allowing students to fully enjoy every activity. Most importantly, the camp created opportunities for students to share laughs, strengthen friendships, and build a genuine sense of belonging as a group.

Join us this Friday, the 5th of June, as we come together to raise vital funds for breast cancer research.

Over the last decade, breast cancer diagnoses in Australia have increased by around 15%. Today, 56 people across the country will receive this diagnosis, and we lose 9 Australians to this disease every single day.

Almost everyone in our community knows someone whose life has been touched by this reality. That is why funding world-class research is so important to changing future outcomes. Wear your best pink threads this Friday, bring a gold coin donation, and let us show our support together.

Reconciliation Week is a time for growth, learning, and reflection. This week, our staff took a hands-on approach to building their cultural awareness during Monday's professional development meeting.
Guided by student and artist Karla Parker, staff members participated in a traditional dot painting task.
The experience allowed our team to connect directly with Aboriginal Culture and artistic expressions. Thank you, Karla, for leading this insightful and inspiring session for our educators.

As we look ahead to Weeks 5 and 6, it’s time to gear up for National Reconciliation Week!

This year’s theme is "All In," and it serves as a powerful reminder that Reconciliation is everybody’s business. It’s not just the responsibility of one department or a few individuals—it’s a collective journey.

To bring this theme to life, we are focusing on The Dot. While it is a recognizable and deceptively simple part of Aboriginal art, its true power is when many dots combine to create something beautiful, complex, and meaningful. You'll see many around the school showcasing the amazing individuals, their connection to country, and what they do!

Shoutout to the incredible student and staff team running our morning Breakfast program supported by Foodbank SA & Central Australia. Every single day at recess, they are busy prepping and serving warm toasties to keep our school community fueled and ready to learn. We love seeing our cohort support each other to ensure everyone has a positive start to the day.
