The next Playford Youth Market is coming up, and Stallholder registrations are open now; this round is hosted next door at NSS.

The Youth Market is a great opportunity for young people who make, create or sell their own products to showcase what they do, build confidence and gain some experience selling to the community.

There will also be live young musicians, a BBQ and plenty happening throughout the day.

Last week, we held our annual Careers Expo!

Our students had the opportunity to connect with a wide range of organisations and industry stakeholders, exploring potential career pathways, study options and what their future could look like.

With a sausage sizzle in the carpark, music on the roof and plenty of great conversations happening throughout the day, it was an incredible day of connection, exploration and inspiration.

A huge thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the day such a success!

Last week NASC Celebrated Bullying No Way Day.

It was lovely to see so many students and staff join us on the roof for the grand re-opening of the whole roof, enjoying the BBQ and signing our whole school pledge for Bullying No Way Day - Australia’s leading initiative to unite schools and communities against bullying.

We are looking for an experienced SACE & VET Administration Officer to join our team at Northern Adelaide Senior College.

One of our valued team members will be retiring at the end of the year, so we are looking to appoint someone to the position starting in Term 4. This will provide a great opportunity for the successful applicant to work alongside our current officer and receive a comprehensive handover before they retire.

Day 2 of the Multicultural Power Cup at Adelaide Oval was a fantastic opportunity for students to experience the excitement of Adelaide Oval. Students watched the Multicultural Cup grand finals, participated in a lap of honour celebrating multiculturalism and then enjoyed watching Port Power take on Greater Western Sydney.

For many of our students, this was their first time visiting Adelaide Oval and experiencing a live AFL match, making it a memorable experience.

A huge congratulations to all of our students for their growth, teamwork, resilience and positive representation of NASC across the two days.

Day 1 of the Multicultural Power Cup at Alberton Oval saw students represent NASC with pride as they competed against schools from across the state. While we didn’t take home the cup, our students demonstrated tremendous growth throughout the day, developing their skills, building confidence and most importantly, working together as a team.

Between games, students also took part in meeting a mini career expo and cultural activities, where they explored future pathways, celebrated different cultures, got creative and collected plenty of freebies along the way!
