CALIBRE BOATS is South Australia’s largest Commercial Boat Builder located in the Largs North Dockyard precinct. and we specialise in construction of commercial aluminium boats ranging in size from 9 - 30 Metres.

We are currently employing the following trades

Aluminum Fabricator/Welders - GMAW (MIG)
Aluminum Fabricator/Welders - GTAW (TIG)

If you are a skilled boilermaker or welder without Aluminium experience, please consider applying as we provide the opportunity to train on the job.

We designed this 59' cray boat for the Higgs family a few years ago, which was built by Calibre Boats. Here she is with the 3D structure model overlaid. Pretty cool... but we are biased!

It's National Flag Day and we always fly the flag here with pride

Our Hull 242 recently christened Tai Ata has started its long journey home to Nelson New Zealand today where it will be converted to a Mussel Harvester. All our very best to Simon Pooley of Waimana Marine and crew for the voyage across the Tasman.
