We’ve thrown caution to the wind, resigning from our management roles, selling our home to travel our beautiful country.

Well… what an AMAZING few days we’ve had with Corey & Janis exploring the Kimberley! 🤠❤️

There were walks, swims, spectacular scenery, questionable driving decisions, LOTS of laughs… and enough beverages consumed to ensure we were well hydrated for the entire adventure. 🍻😂

Our Kimberley shenanigans included:

🏕️ 3 nights at Lake Argyle Resort
🏕️ 2 nights at Home Valley Station
🏕️ 1 night at Kimberleyland Kununurra

🏊‍♀️ Swimming in the gorgeous Lake Argyle infinity pool
🚲 Riding our bikes to the Lake Argyle lookout & homestead
🏛️ Exploring the historic Argyle Homestead and learning how this incredible lake came to be
🌅 A magical sunset cruise & swim on Lake Argyle… complete with around 25,000 freshwater crocs for company! 🐊😳
🚙 Crossing the famous Pentecost River
🥾 Tackling the El Questro Gorge walk… and naturally rewarding ourselves with a swim
😱 Driving up to Saddleback Lookout — otherwise known around here as “Sh*t Ya Pants Hill” 😂
🏊‍♀️ Swimming at beautiful Emma Gorge — officially our favourite gorge so far!

And then, because apparently we hadn’t done enough…

We finished up with a relaxing day in Kununurra celebrating Father’s Day with these two great dads. ❤️🍻

It’s been one of those trips where the scenery is spectacular, the laughs are constant, the legs are getting a workout and the liver is… well… doing its best. 😂

A HUGE thank you to the Jaensch’s for the laughs, adventures and memories. We’ve absolutely loved having you along for the ride!

And, as Janis so perfectly put it…

We are officially “INFLUENZAS”! 😂📸

Who would’ve thought 4 mths would go so quick but here we are livin our best life’s doing Aus Our Way.

4 mths ago today we headed off not having a clue how life on the road full time would go for us. We’ve covered so much with so much more to see and tbh we wouldn’t swap it for the world.

Tonight we are treating ourselves to a 4 mth anniversary dinner and sunset cruise on lake Kununurra and the Ord River.

Super stoked with how Tyson’s car design has come up, for the first part of the season we’ll be watching online but looking forward to being back south to finish out the the season and help him try and defend the Aus 1.

Well, our time in Darwin has come to an end, and it’s time to head south to Katherine before continuing on to Kununurra....

Well, our time in Darwin has come to an end, and it’s time to head south to Katherine before continuing on to Kununurra. 🚐🌴

We’ve had such an amazing time in the Top End — full of new experiences, plenty of laughs, a few drinks (purely to stay hydrated, of course! 😂🍻) and, best of all, making some wonderful new friends along the way.

A huge thank you to Janis & Corey, Jason & Ashley and your families for welcoming us with open arms and letting us park our little mobile home on your property. Your kindness, generosity and hospitality have meant so much to us, and we are incredibly grateful. ❤️

Darwin has certainly given us some memories we’ll never forget, and we’re leaving with full hearts and plenty of stories to tell.

Now it’s time to hitch up, hit the road and see what the next adventure brings…

As many have said over the time, Take that Photo!!!!

We’ve had both our parents and Trudi’s sister here for a 10 day mini territory tour. It’s been amazing giving them a taste of what Trudi and I are living daily as we do our Lap!

We’ve had so many special moments, no doubt at times we probably got on each others nerves, were short at times but as I’ve said many of times, with 2 of the 3 pushing the high side of 80 and slowing down. You never know when or even if your going to see that special someone again.

Life’s unpredictable, uncertain but also special, put up with them and love them whilst you can.
