The Department for Correctional Services caused Jacksons Supplies (and others) substantial harm and covered for their own staff's misconduct, I can and have proven it.
and If I did what they did to me, to them; I would be in PRISON.

Now they continue to use our Australian Intellectual Property to promote Prison Industries to other small businesses, potential-investors and the public, despite our explicit requests for its removal.

Jacksons Supplies does not endorse or recommend Prison Industries. There is no connection between the two entities outside of the small business being scammed by Prison Industries between 2018 - 2024.

Prison Industries management cold-called us into the arrangement, and told us it would make us rich. It did not. Even with a settlement we are still at a loss from our experience with their scam.

Many others may not have had the means, resources or determination to fight and advocate for themselves over several years, and may never have received any settlement at all. This is as much for them as it is about ensuring accountability and repaying the taxpayers whose generosity ultimately funded our multiple (10+) settlements.

I have requested that all references to our business and intellectual property be removed from DCS advertising material. Should this remain unresolved by 10 November 2026; I will consider providing some relevant recordings and supporting evidence concerning the conduct of Prison Industries staff and management to the media, where it can then be properly assessed by the public, a group I am sure does not have vested interests in covering up State Department misconduct.

We do not keep secrets for those who harm small family businesses, and I will consider it a privilege to help protect other small businesses from experiencing similar misconduct at the hands of uniformed officers within the Department for Correctional Services.

Imagine you’re the lead investigator tasked with investigating allegations of misconduct within a Government department.

You investigate your own department and find no wrongdoing.

Then some country-bumpkin firewood seller keeps pushing until the matter is looked at again; this time with external, independent statutory bodies involved.

Suddenly, the same investigation identified issues around:

• Contract management issues.
• Governance issues.
• Oversight issues.

Yikes.

If I were the original investigator, I’d probably be wondering how my investigation managed to miss all of that and what everyone else thinks of that.

But it gets better.

That same firewood seller then asks to be fairly compensated.

The response from the lead investigator?

“Under no circumstances is the Department going to pay you any money.”

Fast-forward about a year…

The State Government pays the small business.

& the peak statutory body describes the entire relationship as "disappointing and distressing."

OOFT.

I certainly wouldn’t want to be responsible for explaining the original investigation, the “no wrongdoing” conclusion, the refusal to pay a cent, and what happened afterwards when the evidence and timeline are put side-by-side publicly.

Nobody should be covering up misconduct to make their uniform look better than what it is.

At that point, I think the public is entitled to ask serious questions about the original investigation, its conclusions and the judgment behind them.

And my personal view is simple: it’s time for fresh leadership.

I suggest that investigator quietly and quickly step down and allow someone with a fresh perspective and a strong commitment to operational integrity to renew the position to the standard that participants and the public deserve.

He has had the opportunity to demonstrate that standard. In my view, the record speaks for itself.

He’s been tested. He failed the test. It’s time to go before another small family business is harmed.

Small businesses deserve accountability too.
