The Brisbane Open House 2026 brought over 1,100 people to the Svitzer Brisbane tug base for a behind-the-scenes look into operations.

Last Saturday, our Svitzer Brisbane team once again opened its doors for Brisbane Open House, welcoming over 1,100 visitors to the tug base.

Together with Patrick Terminals, we raised $3,000 for the Mission to Seafarers Brisbane through a sausage sizzle and tug ride raffle.

Thank you to our community, customers, port partners and team for making this day such a success!

Gale-force winds, adverse winter weather, technical challenges? No dramas for our Svitzer Tusker crew. 💪⚓

Our team is currently towing Svitzer Ruby from Port Kembla to Papua New Guinea, where the vessel will undergo scheduled maintenance as part of Svitzer’s annual dry-docking program.

Incredible work by everyone involved. Wishing the crew fair winds and following seas on their journey to PNG! 🛳️🌅

The Svitzer Barrington (and her sister, the Svitzer Nobbys), have revolutionised towage in the Port of Newcastle.

Join us again at Brisbane Open House 2026! ⚓🛳

From 9am-1pm on Saturday the 18th of July the Brisbane port community will be opening their doors to the public!

Join our team at our tug base for a tour of the vessels, a chat with our crew, a BBQ and coffee stand, and kids' activities 🎨

Last year we welcomed more than 600 members of the community through the security gates to see our port operations and tugs.

Every dollar raised goes to the Mission to Seafarers Brisbane 🙏
