Another beautiful day in the wonderful Litchfield Park with this lovely couple from California Brenda and Glen, it's just great to be able to show off our Majestic Backyard, the only thing that spoils the trip is seeing rubbish on the side of the road and a dirty nappy. Please respect this beautiful place and take your rubbish with you.

A wonderful but very busy Saturday in Litchfield Park. Picked our lovely guests Tricia and Martin Dolphin from Litchfield Outback Resort for a Tour of our beautiful gem of a Park. Stopping for a yummy lunch of Barra, Buffalo sausages Chili and plain, crocodile patties and as Tricia doesn't eat fish we served a tender Porterhouse steak with salads and preserves. We had our last stop on the way back at Zebra Rock to get a bit of history on Territory mined many thousands of years old unique rock thaks Ruth for the talk. Thankyou to our lovely guests and Litchfield Outback Resort for letting them know about us.

What a great day yesterday with our lovely group of Product Managers on our Famil tour starting at Barramundi Adventures catching the famous Barra 2hrs of catch and release, morning tea and a couple of light ales to start the day. We then went on a meandering trip through the glorious Litchfield Park stopping at Wangi Falls unfortunately closed for swimming but could not resist getting the fresh spray of water from the falls standing on the board walk, then off to Buley Rockhole for a relaxing swim and massage from the rock pools while having Barra, Buffalo sausages fresh salad and local made chutneys and preserves being prepared. After lunch a quick dip at Florence Falls then back through our pretty shady town of Batchelor. We had 1 more stop at the Litchfield Outback Resort for light refreshments and a sneak peak at the beautiful rooms they have available for your next stay. What a day with a great group of people. Today marks a sad day in Cookes Tours history after operating the Coomalie school bus services for the last 32 years today is our last day. But as they say when 1 door closes another opens so this is not goodbye were simply going to be down size and will still be here to service the Coomalie Community, as we have launched a new Web site offering some amazing Tours and still doing private charters.

As for me, I've been doing this for the last 14 years. I'm not going lie it's crashed me today to have say goodbye to the kids as over the years I've meet some amazing kids with some awesome stories of what they did over the weekend and others that just needed someone to talk.But like I mention when 1 door closes another opens so I'll be looking for that door.
