Towards the end of September, the full moon will rise over Port Hedland Harbour again, lighting up the water and creating views like this across the Pilbara coastline.

**PSA - DANGEROUS storm near Kalgoorlie** PLEASE SHARE

As of 3pm a potentially dangerous storm has initiated in the Bureau's warning zone to the south of Kalgoorlie.

This has radar indicated large hail and has pulled left typical of supercell activity, exhibiting strong rotation, hail and dangerous winds gusts. Its travelling in an easterly direction.

Please be aware if travelling in the area and report below if this has impacted you.

Port Hedland has recorded a 2.7 magnitude quake today, the eighth earthquake in the area in the past seven days.

After recording three quakes in a day, Geoscience Australia seismologist Hugh Glanville told the ABC late last week the area is quite active.

"The North West Shelf and either side of the Broome basin, so up towards Broome and down towards Port Hedland...the basin has some bounding faults," he said.

"There tends to be more earthquakes clustered around those areas."
