A big Happy Birthday to Harry! He’s been with us since we started. Hates golf and fishing but loves trucking. Always a helping hand, a friendly smile, and a wise word from Harold! He’s one of the best! Have a great day Harry! 🥳🎂

Nice Rice by Honestly Riverina Ltd has been working with HFMG since early 2025. They’ve been transporting all of our products to Melbourne (and beyond soon). A couple of days ago this new truck turned up with some awesome signage on the curtains made possible through more support from HFMG and Kyl...

🚛 R U OK DAY? A question to ask everyday 🚛

Long hours behind the wheel. Nights away from family. Tight deadlines and empty highways.
Our transport and logistics workers keep the whole country moving — but who’s checking in on them?
Today, on R U OK Day, we’re asking the question that matters: are you okay?
To every driver, dispatcher, forklift operator, warehouse worker, planner, administrator and everyone who keeps freight moving — your wellbeing matters as much as the cargo you carry.
🔹 Isolation on long-haul routes is real
🔹 Fatigue affects more than just your driving
🔹 Asking “are you okay?” can be the start of a life-changing conversation
You don’t need to be an expert to reach out. You just need to ask, listen, and remind someone they’re not alone.
👉 Check in on a colleague today.
👉 Check in on a mate.
👉 Check in on yourself.
A simple conversation could make all the difference.

Work with us!
Hawker Haulage is now hiring a full time MC driver, and also a Casual MC driver to join our busy team. Our business offers above award pay & a family friendly environment for our staff.

Our Casual MC driver role would suit an experienced driver looking to semi-retire but still enjoy time on the road.

Our Full Time MC driver would enjoy a variety of work; local, interstate and harvest.

The rain this week has been a welcome sight across the region.

It’s made freight a bit more challenging, with plenty of changes to manage, but a big thanks to our team for keeping things moving.

This Men’s Health Week has made me think about why looking after your health is so important.

In transport, agriculture and regional work, it’s common to keep pushing through. Long days, early starts, time away from home, and pressure that doesn’t always get spoken about.

But your health matters. For yourself, for the people you work alongside, and for the people who rely on you at home!

Check in with your mates, speak up if something isn’t right, and don’t put off seeing your GP.

Look after yourself, and look out for the people beside you.

Our newest Mack arrived in Berrigan this week, and it’s fair to say she’s looking the part.

A big thank you to Matt, Naomi and the team at Wagga Trucks for their exceptional service and support during the build process. We appreciate the professionalism, care and attention that went into getting this truck ready for HFMG.

We’re looking forward to seeing Harry take it out on the road and put the 780 through its paces.
