πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ Four days. Three great stays. A few showers. A few magpies. And plenty of BVRT adventure! πŸ˜„

Sandy, Leigh, Steve & Ryan were ready for just about anything the Brisbane Valley Rail Trail could throw their way – including a little spring rain and the occasional feathered local keeping a close eye on proceedings! πŸ¦πŸ˜‚

Over four days, they made their way along the BVRT on our Specialized e-bikes, enjoying overnight stays at Wells Rest in Linville, Peddlars Rest in Toogoolawah and The Old Station Masters’ House in Coominya.

And the luggage? We took care of that. πŸ™Œ

Each morning they could simply hop on their bikes and ride, while we transferred their luggage to their next accommodation – ready and waiting for them at the end of the day.

That’s what a supported cycling holiday should feel like: less time worrying about the logistics and more time enjoying the trail, the towns, the scenery and each other’s company.

Well done Sandy, Leigh, Steve & Ryan – you certainly embraced everything the BVRT had to offer! πŸ’›πŸš²

Thinking about riding the BVRT yourself? Tell us how you’d like to ride it, and we’ll help take care of the rest.

Well it's been an interesting day and a half to say the least for us!

Started out as a usual Monday assisting cyclists with their dream of cycling the KKRT & BVRT πŸ˜€

Whilst we were out & about our suburb Teelah was on Watch & Act for a bush fire by the QFD!

We lasted through the night with our bags packed ready to go. This morning we set off early through thick smoke, off to shuttle cyclists yet again πŸ‘Œ

Mid morning we were being told fire had jumped Stretton Drive up the hill to our neighbours across the road backyard, so close to home 😳

Then this arvo, another neighbour alerted to us the fire had come in behind our properties, fire truck in our backyard to back burn the bush fire now below our homes.

No power, lines down in 2 places, evacuation alerts, smoke and bush fire behind us was enough for us to make the decision to spend tonight elsewhere, so we're ready for tomorrow's cyclists.

We are so very thankful & grateful to firies, volunteer firies police, our neighbours pulling together and keeping us updated and any other one involved in keeping our little Teelah community safe πŸ™
