Due to an incident on the Cunningham Highway, Bus 1 is experiencing delays this morning.

Students will still be transported to school; however, some may arrive later than usual.

We are working to contact affected families directly and appreciate your patience and understanding.

A valid fare, 10 trip, term or annual pass is required for every trip.

Please ensure you have your pass with you each time you travel. Drivers will ask to sight your pass when boarding.

NOW HIRING FOR TERM 3!! ….Fassifern Coaches are looking for Bus Drivers to fill private school bus services, throughout Ipswich & the surrounding suburbs.

* Pay rates significantly above award + plus bonuses
* Hours ranging from 20 - 30hrs per week
* MR driver’s license (at minimum) essential
* Full route training provided - one on one
* Position open for training now, with commencement scheduled for Term 3 (Tuesday 14th July 2026)

Another exciting day at the Boonah Depot 🚍

We’re thrilled to welcome another new bus to the Fassifern Coaches fleet, continuing our commitment to providing safe, reliable and comfortable transport for our passengers.

A big thank you to Jason and Leonie at Volvo / Irizar for another seamless delivery and for their ongoing support.

We’re proud to see our fleet continue to grow and evolve, and we can’t wait to see this new coach out on the road soon! 🚌

It was an honour for the staff and management of Fassifern Coaches to be invited to celebrate the 60th birthday of one of our most colourful characters behind the wheel – “Dangerous Dave”! 🚌🎉

Anne did an amazing job making sure Dave was treated like royalty for the day, with plenty of laughs, great company, and a celebration fit for a king. 👑🎂

Happy 60th Birthday, mate! Here’s to many more years of keeping us entertained and safely on the road (despite the nickname! 😆).

A massive thank you to 𝙂𝙧𝙖𝙣𝙩 𝙋𝙝𝙚𝙡𝙖𝙣 and 𝙁𝙖𝙨𝙨𝙞𝙛𝙚𝙧𝙣 𝘾𝙤𝙖𝙘𝙝𝙚𝙨 for keeping our festival visitors moving all weekend long!

In his yellow bus, Grant was behind the wheel of the shuttle service operating between the 𝙆𝙖𝙡𝙗𝙖𝙧 and 𝘽𝙤𝙤𝙣𝙖𝙝 𝙎𝙝𝙤𝙬𝙜𝙧𝙤𝙪𝙣𝙙𝙨 and the festival, helping hundreds of guests enjoy a stress-free day among the sunflowers.

Thank you, Grant, for your friendly volunteer service, dedication, and for safely transporting visitors throughout the weekend. Your cheerful yellow bus became a familiar sight for festival-goers and helped make the festival experience smooth and enjoyable for so many people. 🚌

Students travelling on our services to the Boonah SHS Experience Day tomorrow, Wednesday 20 May 2026, are reminded that a flat fare of $5 each way per student ($10 return) applies.

Please ensure payment is made directly to the driver in cash at the time of travel.

We hope all Kalbar SS Year 6 students have an amazing day experiencing life at Boonah SHS! 💙💛

The Fassifern Coaches Depot in Blackstone (Ipswich, Queensland), is seeking applications for a new Office Administration position, as workloads have exploded!!

This role requires a dynamic and proactive person to assist our Chief Operating Officer with administrative tasks associated with our Ipswich transport division.

Previous admin experience & valid driver’s license are essential requirements for application of this position.

We’re excited to welcome Stephanie Cusack to the team. Steph will be supporting our continued delivery of reliable school services across the Scenic Rim & Ipswich, while also helping customers organise transport for weddings, social events, and special occasions.

She’s already settling in — and proving she’s more than capable of handling the buses… at least for the camera 😉
