🤦‍♀️Oh dear guess who’s not on the Alaskan Cruise that left today.
Yep u guessed it “ME”. - long story short I had a Visa - but with my fried brain, I accidentally cancelled it, then reapplied yesterday, then the ETSA visa’s site crashed yesterday and is still down.😖I wasn’t the only one in this predicament (thankfully). Anyhoo another long story short, im heading home a week earlier then expected. I’m looking at the reasoning, I was obviously not meant to go Crusing. Another costly expedition 🥴 had by me lol. Time to go home and invent some amazing pie mixes 🙌
Will look forward to seeing Justine, Merv and Kim’s escapades in the coming week. 🤗

Spent 2 days on the Rocky Mountaineer, one day too much 😖to be honest lol. Maybe it was because of the NO SMOKING policy. 🤦‍♀️Don’t get me wrong the views were amazing, the towns, lakes and scenery were one of a kind, but what surprised me is the lack of wildlife to be seen.
Anyhoo we arrived back in Vancouver yesterday, and are now getting organised for our cruise to Alaska.
Forgot to mention we did a cowboy cook out at Banff, and did a horse ride up the cookout, 1 hour for the ride up and back, I bailed out on the ride back, I think I’ve become a bit precious, but it was honestly hard work dodging mosquitoes 🦟 built like Boeing 747s lol.

Arrived at Lake Louise late afternoon after a day of travelling and taking in the beautiful sights. Weather again has been outstanding. Food has been awesome.
We are now in Banf for the next 2 nights before we board the Rocky Mountaineer for 2 days travel back to Vancouver.

Arrived at sun peaks yesterday afternoon, had a stop at cache creek as and then we had a lovely stop at Horstings Farm along the way. Kim, J and Merv did the gondola ride, I bailed as I’m sporting a bit of a head cold, my sinus played up the day before with the high altitude, so the other guys headed up the mountain and did a scenic walk. I chose to find a bar and have some drinks with our fellow travellers. Kym and I had a sensational dinner at a Japanese restaurant and finished off with some mini donuts.
Today we are back on the bus and heading off to Jasper for 2 nights.

A great stop at the Hilton at Whistler Village. Gondola ride to the mountains, ice-room vodka and caviar, beautiful dinner at Bearfoot Grill, this morning we are off to Sun Peaks, a @6 hour bus ride, time to catch up on some 💤💤💤
