🎣 FISHY FACT FRIDAY! 🐟

Happy FRI-YAY ☀️

With the weekend just around the corner, we thought we'd share a couple of fun facts about our favourite freshwater fighters – Tasmanian trout! 🎣

🐟 FACT #1: Did you know trout aren't actually native to Tasmania? Brown trout were first successfully introduced back in 1864, and they've been keeping Tassie anglers busy ever since!

🎣 FACT #2: Tasmania is home to some seriously impressive trout! Brown trout can grow to over 10kg in the right conditions – although the one that got away is always MUCH bigger! 😂

🐟 FACT #3: Trout can be pretty clever! They're sensitive to movement and vibrations, so sometimes a little patience and stealth go a long way.

Now for the important question… 👀
