• Check your wall socket and home charger output—standard AC charging, single-phase and three-phase setups can deliver very different speeds.

• Your MG4, BYD Atto 3 or Nissan Leaf may charge differently from a Tesla Model 3/Y, IONIQ 5, Kia EV6 or Porsche Taycan. The car’s onboard charger sets the maximum AC rate.

• For road trips, plan a public top-up with Tesla Supercharger, Evie, Chargefox, NRMA, Ampol or BP Pulse across QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, WA, TAS and NT.
