The driving is the easy part.🚛

Dunnage placed, chains run through the anchor points, shackle pins done by hand. None of it is interesting to watch and all of it is the reason the load arrives in one piece.

Rated chains, dunnage under the tracks, weight sitting where the axle groups can actually carry it. Get that right in the yard and the highway looks after itself. Get it wrong and no amount of good driving fixes it 🔗

Loaded at Yatala. Off the trailer in Melbourne. Still not the end of its trip.

Weights checked, chains tensioned, then Ronnie's in the Kenworth and gone. That's the part of heavy haulage nobody films, and it's the part that decides whether the machine arrives the way it left.

That's Ronnie, and that's a Metso crusher going up on the low-loader.
Tracks squared, weight sitting over the axle group, then chained and tensioned before it goes anywhere near a highway. 25 years of heavy haulage.
