We’re excited to share something really special we’ve been building behind the scenes: Rides to Hope, Shebah’s new philanthropic initiative designed to support vulnerable women and children who need safe, reliable transport at critical moments.

Rides to Hope will offer subsidised rides to those who can’t afford full fares, stepping even further into our mission of putting safety, dignity and compassion on the road for those who need it most.

The program isn’t open for rides just yet, but it will be very soon and we can’t wait to share more with you. In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing ways you can get involved through partnerships, fundraising and community support, so together we can help keep doors open and journeys possible for those who need it most 💚

The new passenger app is here. Go make sure you’ve got the new version and log yourself in to make those trip bookings.

It’s happening! Our brand new Shebah app goes live Wednesday, July 30 and it’s packed with the features you’ve been asking for:

✨ Live trip tracking
✨ Apple Pay
Update your app on Wednesday to keep riding safe with us! Heads up: If you’ve pre-booked trips for after July 29 in the current app, they won’t carry over. Make sure to rebook them once the new app is live.

We can’t wait for you to try it out!

**BIG NEWS**

If you missed the email, we need to let you know something very important, and equally exciting.

On Wed 30-July, the Shebah app you know and love will be replaced with a new updated version. This does mean you will need to update your app before booking your next ride (sorry about that), but it also means some additional features you’ve been asking for, like multiple stops, Apple Pay, live tracking, and more!

Importantly, any trips booked in advance for 30-July (or after) will not carry into the updated app. If you need to book a trip for Wed 30-July, particularly the morning, please jump into our DMs and our team will arrange for a driver to accept your trip manually - and help you with an instant trip when she arrives to collect you.

Keep an eye on your emails for more information and we'll share updates here also. Of course, if you have any questions - use the comments below or slide into our DMs and we'll absolutely help answer them. The new app is new to us as well, so please be patient with us as we all learn the features.
