The last leg has been completed 💪

We definitely rushed through this last leg, covering so much ground in so little time 😱

I wish we could've slowed down to take it all in a bit more, but it was wonderful travelling through none the less 😊

We left our sleepy little camp at Southend and headed to the beautiful Mt Gambier 🌸
What a breath of fresh air this place was! So green and fresh! We explored the various sink-holes, caves and blue lakes. We LOVED this place 😍

Then we headed for the border! Welcome to Victoria 🥰

We stopped in at Portland, where Jess' family first settled about 6 generations ago. It was really cool researching history and walking the streets of her ancestors. Portland is a lovely little town! Definitely worth a stop in.

From here, we stopped in to see Warrnambool and were absolutely not disappointed by the breathtaking scenery here. Wow.

We said goodbye to the coast for a bit here and headed inland. Next stop: Halls Gap and the Grampians.

Holy moly this place is amazing 🤩
The views are just incredible, so glad we stopped in here and were able to soak up all it had to offer in the good weather ☀️

We headed over to Ararat after this, did the ghost tour at the Aradale asylum and then continued on to Creswick. We used this as our base while we travelled into Melbourne, explored Pentridge Prison precinct and checked out St Kilda beach.

After getting overwhelmed by the population in Melbourne, we headed for NSW, stopping in at Beechworth on the way! We always love Beechworth. We checked out Last St Brewery (Formerly Billsons Brewery) and then made our way back to the coast!

We spent a beautiful few nights on a farm near Yass, travelled through Penrith, had a beautiful lunch in Forster-Tuncurry and then settled in at Valla Beach on the NSW mid north coast for a bit. What a paradise we have found ourselves in 🥰

Sorry for the radio silence guys 📻😅
We've been on the move! We'll keep you updated with what we've been up to over the coming weeks 😊

For now.. Here's a little snippet of our journey from Victor Harbour through to Southend, SA ✌️

After leaving the beautiful harbour, we headed inland and up to the Adelaide hills! Wowee this place is so gorgeous 😍

We stayed in a quiet little hipcamp in Macclesfield as our base while we explored Hahndorf and made a special trip out to Monarto Safari Park for Jess' Birthday 🎂

Hahndorf really blew us away with just how darn cute it was! We were really impressed walking the streets and admiring the beautiful buildings, and just the whole vibe was 💯

We also need to shout out the Safari Park, definitely a must see and something a little bit different 👌

We then continued on through Tailem Bend, stretched our legs at old Tailem Town, stopped off in Kingston SE and snapped a classic shot of the big lobster, then found ourselves in what may have been our favourite campsite yet! 🤯

Southend Tourist Park was exactly what we were looking for, completely waterfront, quiet and just the most relaxing vibe you could ask for 😍

From here we popped out to Cape Northumberland to see South Australia's most southern point, and explored the cute little town of Millicent 🏡

We finally made our way into ADELAIDE and explored the beautiful FLEURIEU PENINSULA 😍

We rode on the tram and wondered through the city, visited the Museum and the River Torrens. I wouldn't usually call Adelaide a busy place, but we landed here right on the holidays so we were a little overwhelmed with people 😅

We spent quite a bit of time down on the Peninsula, soaking up the unique environment 🌄

The drive into Rapid Bay is genuinely something else and definitely a must see! We went down there on a stinking hot day and it was vibin' 🏖 they even had a DJ on the beach! 🎧

Our next stop was Victor Harbour 🐬 and oh my, this place is stunning! We jumped on the Horse Drawn Tramway 🐴 over to Granite Island and had a wonderful day exploring and checking out the Sea Lions 🦭

We ended up staying here a week longer as Elvis needed a quick surgery to remove some lumps, but he is doing just fine now 🐶🥰

Victor Harbour is definitely a must see when visiting Adelaide. We stayed at the Port Elliot Showground, it's a great spot to base yourself on a budget! 🌿

We spent the holidays taking it easy on the YORKE PENINSULA ☀️ We didn't get a whole lot of content here - the weather wasn't always ideal, the algae bloom has very much impacted the area and most importantly - we took some time out to spend some quality time together 🥰

The Yorke is still gorgeous - its just heartbreaking to see the ongoing damage to the environment and we found ourselves feeling a bit nervous about being near the water.

We still had a pretty great time though! We found this quirky little "church of fish & chips" in Port Pirie, soaked up the sun in gorgeous Moonta Bay, spent some more money on the car 🙃 stopped into Snowtown and then spent Christmas at Hillocks Drive 😍

Hillocks Drive is absolutely worth a visit, great camping and beautiful views!

And we couldn't do a post on the Yorke without a special shout out to Point Turton - what a spot! And the beach here was incredible 🤩

Boy have we been busy! We explored the whole EYRE PENINSULA and we were impressed! 🤩

This place is fantastic! Beautiful clear waters, amazing beach camps and it was barely even busy!

Not only are there gorgeous calm bays to enjoy, there's dramatic rocky coastlines, cool little coastal drives, caves to explore and of course the best bit - Sea Lions!!!! 🦭

We tracked down the western side, soaking up as much as we could before hanging out in Port Lincoln for a bit. We really fell in love with this little town - it really is a great little spot 😍

We absolutely recommend jumping on Sea Lion dive tour! But if you can't afford it, there's definitely opportunities to spot them (and sometimes even swim with them) for free!

As we headed up the eastern coast, we stopped into all the little coastal towns along the way and you really can't go wrong wherever you choose to go, the place is fabulous.

Our last stop on the peninsula was this great little free camp just down from Flintstone Beach near Whyalla, and it was a great end to the Eyre 🫶

We cross the NULLARBOR and finally enter SOUTH AUSTRALIA 🙌

How cool is this great Australian drive? 🏜

We did some of the best remote bush camping of the trip and were completely blown away by the absolutely breathtaking Bunda Cliffs 🌊

We explored the Windmill museum in Penong (how could we not?), had our first 40° day in a while ☀️ And found a little slice of paradise to cool off in just off the coast while we were there!

This is definitely something everyone should do once in their life! It's a fantastic little trip and one you'll remember! 🥰

What a dream Esperance is 🌊🥰

It's just beautiful beaches after beautiful beaches 🤯
We honestly didn't think they could keep getting better!
The white sand & the electric blue water 😍
Even in crappy weather it didn't disappoint!

We did the Great Ocean Drive, checked out the (not pink) pink lake and were completely blown away by the scenery!

Then we ventured out to Cape Le Grand National Park and OH MY GOD!
The photos speak for themselves.
Everyone needs to go check out Hellfire Bay, then take a drive on the beach at Lucky Bay 👌

Once we thought we couldn't see any better, we drove out to the Duke of Orleans Bay to check out "The best in Australia" - Wharton Beach.

Yep. We get it. It's absolutely gorgeous!

Although we really can't choose between Hellfire Bay, Lucky Bay and Wharton Beach for their beauty.
They're all absolutely breathtaking.

We loved Wharton Beach - for the simple fact that it's dog friendly and we got to share it with our favourite little beach lover, Elvis 🐶

🌊 Which is your favourite of the three?
