Another Saturday at the Westend Markets.

The sun was kind today. Soft light, easy conversations, and the quiet satisfaction of watching two beautiful women choose macrame necklaces I’d made with my own hands.

There’s something special about that moment — when someone picks up a piece you’ve created and it feels right on them. Like a small, wordless exchange of stories.

I’m here most Saturdays. Same place, same stall. Books that carry the weight of an 800-kilometre walk across Spain, and now these necklaces and bracelets that have found their own quiet place among them.

If you’re wandering the markets one weekend and feel drawn to stop by… the kettle’s always on in spirit.

Grateful for the day.

Some journeys never really end.....

Eight hundred kilometres across Spain. One foot in front of the other. A rucksack on my back… and the weight of my husband’s ghost pressing down with every step.

That walk wasn’t about finding answers. It was about learning how to carry what couldn’t be left behind. The grief. The silence. The version of myself that died with him.

I wrote it all down so I wouldn’t have to hold it alone.

This Saturday I’ll be at the **Nanango Markets** with my stall — bringing *Walk in My Shoes: A Pilgrim’s Journal* and *Bucket Tick Journal Tasmania*, along with some newly made macrame necklaces and bracelets.

If you’ve ever walked through something that nearly broke you… if you’ve ever needed a place to put the weight down… come find me.

I’ll sign your book. We can talk. Or we can just sit in the quiet for a moment and know we’re not the only ones still walking.

The path doesn’t end when the kilometres do.
Sometimes it just changes shape.

✨ A beautiful little market moment to share ✨

Yesterday I had a lovely young man stop by and choose one of my handmade macramé necklaces. 🌿✨

He absolutely loved it, and it was so special seeing someone appreciate the time, creativity, and care that goes into each piece.

And I have to say… doesn’t he look amazing wearing it! 😍

I love creating pieces that become part of someone’s own story — whether it’s a journal for a journey or a handmade treasure to wear. ❤️
