Only an hour from Brisbane you’ll find Thunderbird Park and Tamborine Mountain Glades.

It’s a beautiful place to stay, with a combination of natural scenery from the creek and the rainforest but with huge amounts of activities for the kids including thunder egg mining and our old favourite Dig It.

The hotel is comfortable, well-equipped and reasonably priced. The onsite restaurant is excellent quality. With all food and activities in the one complex you can park the car and forget about it for the weekend. Finish off with a buffet breakfast and you’ve got yourself a perfect little getaway.
