Winter is fast disappearing on us!!! Most of South East QLD is due for temps into the 30s as soon as this weekend! the long range forecasts are saying likeliness of a really dry and hot summer!
Is your club fire prepared???
With most clubs sitting within some kind of bushland setting - and a world of Lipo batteries, and turbine models potentially posing risks around what we do - have you had a discussion amongst your club members about what to do in the event of - not only a potential fire via a crashed model - but on a larger scale - bush fire scenario for your region, and how this may affect flying operations at your club???
MAAQ has options to assist clubs with potentially adding to - renewing, or replacing fire fighting equipment.
