Across October, ✈️🩷

Fly Pink is an initiative started over 10 years ago by QantasLink pilot Sue McHaffie as a way to raise funds and awareness for breast cancer research.

In the last decade it has raised more than half a million dollars for the National Breast Cancer Foundation (NBCF), and now has dozens of airlines around the world flying pink with us.

Thank you to the teams who bring this to life each year, and to those who wear everything from pink epaulettes, wings, lanyards and socks to spread awareness and raise money for an important cause.

Heading to the beach as the weather warms up? Our partner Surf Life Saving Australia, along with the more than 300 Qantas employees who volunteer as surf lifesavers, have a few tips to help you swim safely.

🔴🟡 Swim at a patrolled beach, between the red and yellow flags
🌊 Look out for rips. They often look like calmer water between breaking waves
🙋 Listen to the advice of the surf lifesavers
☀️ Wear a hat, a long-sleeve shirt, and sunscreen, and find some shade

And don't forget to complete your Beach Passport before you arrive. It's your boarding pass for the beach. Qantas Frequent Flyers will be awarded 150 Qantas Points for completing the Beach Passport and will go into the draw to win 1 million points. T&Cs apply. Visit beachpassport.org.au

Celebrating one year of the Airbus A321XLR 🥳

For the past 12 months, these next generation aircraft have been connecting customers across Australia while delivering a quieter, more comfortable flying experience and supporting the largest fleet renewal program in our history.

Some highlights from year one:
✈️ More than 6,000 flights operated
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Close to 900,000 customers carried
🌏 Nearly 10 million kilometres flown
🛩️ Seven XLRs delivered so far, with 41 more to come
🐠 VH-OGG joined the fleet in a special Great Barrier Reef livery
