A day at sea !! So now somewhere in the Atlantic somewhere between Europe and the Caribbean !! It’s a tough life !! So a Welsh girl onboard has booked me another cruise so when I get to Texas I leave for Honduras, Mexico and Belize !! Funny thing was 30 years ago I used to do the customs clearance for Fyffes Bananas from Honduras and Belize so if you had one then I’d had my fingers on them !!

Cruise day 2 Alicante !! Did 20000 steps walking around the town it seems quite overlooked compared to the resorts such as Benidorm up the coast but well worth a visit.

A day out on the North Yorkshire moors and through to Whitby for Fish and chips ( well sausage and chips for me !! ) Went to Goathland home of Heartbeat and Hogsmean station from Harry Potter and Whitby where the endeavour was built to travel to Australia and New Zealand with Captain Cook

Drove to York today to drop ‘someone’ off then drove to Leeds to drop of a hire car then got on the train back to York! Went to the Castle Museum and I was amazed we approached the desk together to pay individually and was told to stand back as due by to privacy they could only serve us both separately I have never heard of anything so stupid !

A day in the Yorkshire days and Grassington home of all creatures great and small ! Had dinner at the The Devonshire ( the drovers arms ) right next to the fictional Sceldale house which is actually a private house and the pillars as seen in the show are made of fibreglass and only put there for filming !
