🌸 A sure sign spring is here!

The spectacular Sturt Desert Pea is starting to bloom, bringing brilliant splashes of red to the outback landscape.

There are beautiful pockets popping up around Broken Hill, making now a great time to get out and explore the region.

There’s something pretty special about seeing our iconic desert flower blooming in the wild. ❤️🌿

Cooking up a proper BBQ for our Mundi guests! 🔥🥩

One of the little comforts we love offering at camp is our hosted 2-course dinner.

After a few days of festival food, sometimes you just want a freshly cooked meal — good quality meats straight off the BBQ, fresh salads, a glass of w**e and dessert to finish.

No hunting around the food vendors for dinner, no cooking and no fuss. Just come back to camp, grab a seat, enjoy a proper feed and share a few laughs with the group.

It’s these evenings around camp that often become some of our favourite Mundi memories. 🤎

Some of the best outback moments are the ones you can’t plan for.

Walk through rugged red rock gorges, take in the Living Desert Sculptures glowing in the late afternoon light, then head out across the ancient landscapes of Mungo National Park.

And keep your eyes open — you might spot yellow-footed rock-wallabies among the rocks, Major Mitchell’s cockatoos overhead or a wedge-tailed eagle soaring across the sky. If you’re lucky, you could even catch a glimpse of wild camels roaming the open plains.

Big landscapes, incredible wildlife and plenty of moments worth stopping for.

Here’s Johnny! 🤎

After six days of a very Muddy Mundi, he’s more than ready to get back to a warm house, kick off those boots and put his feet up!

It was a tough week — mud, rain, long days and plenty of challenges along the way. But through it all, Johnny just kept going, doing whatever needed to be done.

We’re truly grateful for everything he does behind the scenes to keep making this crazy little dream of ours happen.

Time to hang up the muddy boots, Johnny… at least until the next adventure! 🤠

Meet Ronnie — a true outback gentleman. 🤠

Distinguished, well-kept and always ready to lend a hand, Ronnie has been one of our wonderful vollies, helping us with many of our Mundi Mundi Bash campsite setups.

From pitching tents to getting camp ready for our guests, Ronnie is the kind of bloke who quietly gets in and gets the job done.

We’re incredibly grateful to have him as part of the Overland crew. Thanks, Ronnie — a true outback character and an absolute legend around camp!
