It’s been a while between posts but on this sunny winter day we have headed down to do some recycling. A big thank you to a lovely neighbour who dropped off cans to Garbage Truck Harry and kicked this mum into action.

Both Harry and mum got the guess wrong for cans but it’s always fun to see who is the closest.

With the kids saving their money for spending money for our holiday at the end of the year they are super keen to get recycling again.

Happy Easter! We hope that you had a lovely time celebrating with family and friends.

It’s school holidays and we are here to take your rebatable recyclable items off your hands. This year my sister and I are saving up for new IPads and we are using the money from recycling to put towards our long term goal.

If you have any recyclables that you would like taken off your hands please send us a message and we will come and get them.

Brookwater Golf & Country Club we are happy to take yours off your hands too!

It’s been a while between posts but we are still here! We are older and still love collecting garbage.

If you have any recyclable cans at home (wine 🍷 bottles and spirit bottles) can now be included and if you have any we would love to take them off your hand.

Thanks to everyone who supports Harry and his siblings through Garbage Truck Harry. This afternoon we are at Return-It Australia in Goodna to cash in our recycling, the team here do a great job.

A change is coming for what bottles can be included in part of the Containers for Change Scheme with wine and spirit bottles being included from November.

So come October keep them aside and we can take them off your hands

We’re expanding our Containers for Change QLD Scheme to include glass wine and spirit bottles from 1 November 2023.

PS: This is not my personal wine bottle collection! 😁

For a long time Harry was wanted to have a lemonade stand and yesterday he finally made it happen. First customers were neighbours in The Retreat and it was a hit!

So today he’s taking the lemonade stand to the Dog Park! He will be there from 4:00pm with his homemade lemonade for you to drink. No slushies today though.

He looks forward to seeing you there.

Happy New Year!

Harry would like to thank everyone for their support of Garbage Truck Harry over the last few weeks. Harry and his co-workers (his brother and sister) have been busy running back to Return-It Australia at Goodna dropping off cans.

In these recycling runs Harry decided that he would like to donate some money to different community organisations. This month Harry decided to donate some money to his sisters Guide Unit Goodna Redbank Plains Girl Guides. Today he took his donation to their sausage sizzle at Bunnings Warehouse Australia at Bundamba.

Thank you for supporting Harry’s business and his siblings as they learn to save, spend and donate as work to earn money. We look forward to seeing what other organisations he chooses to donate too and will share as he does.
