The Broome Rodeo & Campdraft kicks off this week, with two action-packed evenings of bull riding, campdraft, barrel racing and live entertainment.

🚗 Uber has officially arrived in Broome!

We're pleased to share that the first day of operations at Broome International Airport has gone smoothly, marking an exciting milestone for our community.

As the first location in Northern WA to launch Uber services, Broome now has greater transport choice for both locals and visitors, making it even easier to explore our incredible region.

As with any new service, it'll take a little time to grow, so we thank everyone for their patience as more local drivers come onto the platform over the coming weeks.

A big thank you to local and newly registered Uber driver, Tonii Skeen, for attending our launch this morning.

We're proud to support initiatives that inspire the next generation while strengthening our regional communities.

Through Edith Cowan University's 2026 On Country Study Tour, pre-service teachers had the opportunity to experience the unique rewards and opportunities of teaching in the Kimberley. By connecting with local schools, educators and communities, they're gaining invaluable firsthand insight into rural and remote education.

We're honoured to be one of the partners helping make this important initiative possible and look forward to seeing more passionate educators choose a future in regional Australia.
