❗🚧 Low power lines on Old Toorbul Point Road have delayed the 7310 Service from St Michaels. Expected delays are 30 minutes dependant on emergency services / Energex attendance to fix issue. All passengers are safe and the service will continue as soon as it is safe to do so. ❗🚧🚌

🚍⚠️IMPORTANT NOTICE REGARDING CHANGES TO SCHOOL BUS SERVICES - TERM 1 2026 ⚠️🚍
This is an important notice for any parents or guardians who have children travelling on the following Caboolture & Bribie school services.

AM School runs with changes from Term 1 2026 – all weekdays
Caboolture – 7218am
Bribie – no run changes in the AM

PM School runs with changes from Term 1 2026 – all weekdays
Caboolture – 7218pm, 7237pm
Bribie – 7310pm, 7311pm

School runs with changes from Term 1 2026 – Fridays only
Caboolture – 7218pm, 7243pm, 7246pm

New PM School run from Term 1 2026 – Fridays only
Caboolture – 7288pm

Changes for the above listed school run services will take effect from
the beginning of Term 1, January 2026.

Service change notices detailing the specific changes with updated copies of run sheets and maps (if applicable), can be found on our CBL website https://www.cbl.biz/school-services. Parents and students are encouraged to also check the journey planner on the Translink website www.translink.com.au or the Translink app in January, prior to the start of Term 1 2026.

If your child travels on one of the services listed above it is important
that you view the service change notice on our website, to see what
has changed for your child’s bus travel.

If your child’s school run has not been listed above, it means that
there have not been any changes to that service.

Bus passes that included a concession card will be ready in the next couple of weeks, and further notification will be sent.

If the School bus service your student catches begins with "72", please pickup your 2026 bus pass from our Caboolture Depot, 38-40 Aerodrome Road Caboolture

For students whose bus service starts with "73", please pickup your 2026 bus pass from our Bribie Island depot, 20-26 Armitage Street Bongaree.

Office hours are 08:30 - 16:30

🚧 SERVICE UPDATE – NETWORK DISRUPTIONS 🚧

Due to the severe weather event earlier this week, some areas of our network in Bribie, Ningi and Beachmere are currently affected.

All School and Urban bus services are operating, however for safety reasons, buses are unable to access the following locations:

Bestmann Rd West (between Rose St and Bribie Island Rd)

Bishop Rd, Beachmere (between Mynott St and Campbell Pde)

Toorbul St, Bongaree (between First Ave and Webster St)

Sylvan Beach Esplanade, Bellara

As a result, School and Urban services are diverting around the affected areas, and minor delays are expected.

Service Update Wednesday 26th November 2025

🎓Bribie Island High, Bribie Island State and Banksia State schools are closed today. Qld Department of Education are reporting they have sent text messages to all parents to advise them of this. 🏫
🚌All CBL Bribie school bus services will operate as normal to pick up any students and will drop students at their schools where they will be supervised by education department / school staff who will contact parents.
🚌All other CBL school bus services will operate as normal with schools open
🚍All urban bus services will be operating to normal weekday timetable with some diversions and road closures in place around Bribie Island.

📣 SERVICE DISRUPTIONS NOTICE – UPDATE

Access has now been restored to some parts of the Bribie network. The following areas are now open for buses:

✅ 640 & 641 – Goodwin Dr between Cotterill Ave & First Ave
✅ 641 – Sunderland Dr near Reef St Banksia Beach

❗ Bus services are currently unable to access the following areas:
🚫 642 – Toorbul St, Bongaree between Webster St & First Ave
🚫 643 – Bestmann Rd West between Bribie Island Rd & Rose St

🚌 Buses will continue to divert around the remaining impacted locations.
⏱ Minor delays may still occur across the network.
