Skytrans continues to strengthen its operational capabilities with the rollout of enhanced digital systems across four RPT communities serviced from Cairns.

The technology connects key parts of the ground and flight operation, from passenger check-in and baggage processing through to information available to pilots via their Electronic Flight Bags (EFBs).

Delivering this capability across remote locations required close coordination, testing and training across our teams, ensuring the systems work effectively within the realities of regional aviation.

The rollout is part of our ongoing focus on building more connected, efficient and resilient operations across the Skytrans network, with further locations to follow as infrastructure and connectivity allow.

From 20 September 2026 through 25 April 2027, Skytrans Australia will introduce additional weekend services, giving travellers more choice and greater flexibility throughout the upcoming peak travel season.

During this period we'll operate:
