The Boss Man had one job yesterday (for me)- get the firefighter ready, but time got away from him. So when he took off to sort this morning and was taking a long time - This is what I found - seems he can’t keep his hands off his other girls even just for one day🤣. Apparently its working well and truck is clean… now we wait for it to refill 🤦‍♀️

It was awesome to watch our local volunteers in action this week. They were training on our burn pile, which proved to be hotter than the thermostat! Super proud of the amazing community we live in and the volunteers who put up their hands to protect our community. Thank you to everyone who volunteers, you guys are amazing!🔥👨‍🚒

A good turnout for Thursday night's Bush Fire Training.
There was a heap to be burnt so we went along to make sure it all went well. Took the opportunity to practice the "Left for Life" hose work to enable crews to advance on a fire safely.

Congratulations to the Cowaramup District Social Club celebrating 70 years this weekend. I’m trying to find out if rumours are true this dear sweet cute young man is the person responsible for the dance floors need to be re-stumped a few years back. Aparently before my time he was quite the dancer 🕺
