Engine / Airframe LAMEs B1.1 & B1.2

Hardy Aviation is a major regional aviation company based in Darwin NT. It operates a large fleet of Cessna 200/400 series and Metro aircraft, providing a wide range of air transport services. Several positions are available for suitable people in our Part145/CAR 30 AMO.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be required to work in a team environment carrying out both Line and Base maintenance on our fleet under our Part 145/CAR30 Approval Certificates.

Essential Skills & Experience
Must have CASA B1 Licence
Good oral and written communication skills
Ability to work unsupervised as well as part of a team
Must be reliable
Sound knowledge of CASA regulatory requirements
Knowledge of QMS, HF & SMS
Must be eligible to hold an ASIC
Able to successfully complete DAMP testing
Australian Citizenship or full working rights within Australia
Desirable Skills & Experience
Experience in Cessna Caravans and 400/200 series aircraft
PT6A/TPE331 experience
Knowledge of IAS
SA227 Metro experience

Working hours Mon-Fri with early start/finish available. Overtime may be available, no night shift ensures a good work/life balance can be achieved.
Remuneration of $145k plus superannuation for holders of B1.1 and B1.2 licence. PT6A and TPE331 training available with additional salary increase upon licence outcome. 6 weeks paid annual leave and assistance with relocation costs to Darwin is available.

Fly Tiwi expands again!

This time with a service to Galiwinku / Elcho Island!

From August the 2nd, 2021, Hardy Aviation is happy to announce that Fly Tiwi will provide a new regular air transport service from Darwin to Galiwinku.
Please be aware that to ease check-in for passengers - This Fly Tiwi service will be departing from the Hardy Aviation terminal in Slade Court at Darwin Airport.

At first three times a week, and likely more regularly as demand grows, one of our comfortable fast and air conditioned Cessna Conquest will provide a Darwin/Galiwinku/Darwin direct service with a flight time of just over 1 hour.

Fly Tiwi is looking for reliable people to work casually as Agents, checking in passengers and unloading and loading our aeroplanes at Maningrida.

• We will pay you for each plane you meet and provide other benefits.
• You need to be able to get to the airport half an hour before the aeroplane, have a phone, be able to read and write clearly, and be happy to do some training. You will also need to pass a drug test.
• We expect you will meet one plane a day from Monday to Friday. There may be more in the future. If you cannot attend sometimes you just need to let us know. Arrangements could be made to share the job.

Fly Tiwi expands to service Maningrida!

Hardy Aviation is happy to announce that from Monday September 14th its scheduled arm, Fly Tiwi, will offer a new regular air service from Darwin to Maningrida, departing from the Fly Tiwi terminal at Darwin Airport.

Initially three times a week, Monday, Wednesday and Friday in one of our brand new, comfortable modern Cessna 208 aircraft will provide a Darwin-Maningrida-Darwin direct service.
