Well, this one meant a lot. ❤️

Last night, She’s My Travel Agent won Excellence in Customer Service – Professional Services (Small) at the Tamworth Quality Business Awards.

Of all the categories, this was the one I really wanted.

I’ve always believed that an experienced travel advisor provides a professional service. We advise, research, problem-solve, advocate, manage risk and look after our clients through some of the biggest purchases and most important experiences of their lives.

Professional Services is a category traditionally associated with accountants, brokers, financial advisers, lawyers and similar professions, so I’m particularly proud to see a travel advisor recognised alongside them.

After 19 years in the travel industry, and in the year She’s My Travel Agent celebrates 10 years, this one feels pretty special.

I hope this win shines a light on what experienced travel advisors actually do — and the professionalism, knowledge and responsibility behind the service we provide. ❤️✈️

✈️ A new way to Europe is coming from Western Sydney.
Singapore Airlines’ new daily service will depart Western Sydney at 11:55pm, connecting into its huge network through Singapore — including plenty of options into Europe.

Country families know... sport often becomes the reason to travel. 🚗🏐
A recent trip to Sydney for a NSW Swifts clinic became so much more than a day of netball. I’ve shared our little adventure, a few travel tips, and why we’re just about to do it all again!
This school holidays we’re heading back—with netty friends in tow! Newcastle, winter beach walks, Christmas in July at The Rocks, the Bastille Festival, a day with the mighty Swifts.. and hopefully a side of Pancakes on the Rocks! 🥞

A little bit of exciting news to share ✈️
I’m proud to have been appointed by the directors to the SmartFlyer Australia Advisory Board for the coming year.
SmartFlyer has given me so much throughout my career, so the opportunity to give something back is one I’m genuinely excited about.
From a little home office in regional NSW to a seat at the table helping shape the future of our network, it’s a pretty humbling moment.
Having spent my entire travel career in regional Australia, I’m looking forward to bringing that perspective.. let’s be honest about it- we think a bit differently in the country!
Thank you to the SmartFlyer directors for the opportunity, and to my wonderful clients for supporting my little business every step of the way.
