🔆BALI WITH KIDS - Part 1 Kuta 🔆
Molly and her family just returned from a holiday in Bali! Best family holiday destination!
The trip started with 5 nights at the Hard Rock Hotel in Kuta. This hotel is perfect for young families wanting to be close to the action in Kuta.
Here are my hot tips for this property/area:
🍍 Buffet breakfast was a highlight - so much variety
🍍 The main pool has multiple gazebos for hire, but if you want a particular one, you must pre-book these as they sell out well in advance.
🍍 Tonnes of waterslides for all ages! Great fun :)
🍍 Hotel is walking distance to Waterbom Park, which is very handy as you must get there EARLY! Gazebos will say booked out online, however if you get their early enough, head straight to the lockers and book direct, they had lots available.
🍍 Close proximity to the Discovery Mall. Air conditioned shopping and HEAPS to do with the kids. Great to be close too if you are travelling in the rainy season as it's all inside.
🍍 Very close to the beach bars for the adults to have a few bevs on the cheap while kids play in the sand.
🍍 Eating at the resort was quite pricey, but luckily its location is so central, getting to a local restaurant was super easy and saved us lots.
Overall, Kuta is a great spot to be for convenience to Waterbom and cheap shopping. The Hard Rock Hotel is also a great option for location and for families wanting a high energy resort to entertain the kids.
