The world is still turning and it makes me happy that people are still heading out on their adventures.

At Safe and Sound Driver Service, with the current world fuel climate, we have added a fuel levy to all of our quotes, of $10 each way, to cover the extra costs at the moment.

*If you have a current quote with us, it will be honoured as to what has been quoted and once paid, the price is locked in. Some of the current quotes (if quoted after 1/4/26 will already included the levy)

*If you are booking in advance and by the time your trip comes around, the price of Diesel is back to normal, (ie: back under $2.00 per litre) I will happily issue a refund for the $10 each way levy that you paid, no problem.

*Any quotes or trips paid in full already in the system are 100% locked in for their price.

Any questions, please ask, as transparency is paramount at Safe and Sound Driver Service.

Child Safety Seats (0-4yr), Child Boosters (5-8yr) & Luggage Trailers are always supplied at no charge, just specify what you need in the additional information section. We can take up 7 passengers in one trip!

If you look at the ramp in the 1st picture, it’s the same ramp that is still being used today!

A LOT of changes are happening at the moment at Melbourne Airport, with the Departure and Arrivals situation and parking, so take the “Arghhhhh” out of your trip, start your holiday fresh and happy (and without having an argument on the trip there, before you leave with your significant other because you took a wrong turn and added extra time onto your trip and now you’re running late………) and book one of our Geelong local drivers to get you there Safe and Sound!

Wow, what an end to 2025!

Christmas Parties, Christmas Travels and New Years Music Festivals, it’s been a HUGE couple of weeks for our clients and their families and friends!

We’ve had lots of lovely people travelling to New York for Christmas, to Europe to see and shop in the magnificent Christmas Markets, some travelled to Europe and Japan to go skiing and snow boarding, some travelled to join a river and ocean cruises for Christmas and New Years!
Some have gone interstate to spend Christmas and New Years with family and friends.

We have had interstate and international travellers and performers, come to our wonderful city, to attend the 4 day Beyond the Valley Festival at Hesse, some came just for 24 hours to perform, some came for the 4 days to camp and some came to travel out everyday to attend the day/night performances.
(Truely a great set up out there and some of our other regular local rural concert venues need to have a chat to whoever were the organisers of roads management, parking and bus and vehicle pick up and drop off at Hesse, as the system they had out there was amazing and worked very, very well!!!)

At Safe and Sound we were able to cater for all who booked early enough that we could fit them in amongst our air travellers requirements.

We are looking forward to our New 2026 Year and January has already started off with a bang 💥
