Apparition Charters Experience a day in the life of a professional crayfisherman. The tours start early morning:approx 5.30am weather depending. We return to the wharf around 12pm.

We leave Geraldton Fishermans Wharf and steam out to where the craypots are located on board a 56 foot aluminium cray/charter boat. We then pull about 90 craypots hopefully full of crayfish,then we rebait and set the craypots for the next day. Then we basket up all the crayfish to bring back to port to sell them. Most days there are plenty of small sharks to be seen around the boat eating all the

left over bait. Fantastic views of the sun rising over Geraldton. All you need to bring is a water bottle,snacks,hat and of course your camera to catch all the action of the day. The tours are very seasonal as we only go out when the price for the crayfish is where we need it to be.Also sometimes I head over to the Abrolhos Islands to catch crayfish so the tours are not available during these times. Due to the Department of Fisheries regulations we are unable to sell or cook crayfish to the public but they can be purchased from the Fishermans Co-op store on the wharf.
