Good to see some more positive developments with the re-opening of the Queensland border for businesses, re-uniting families and domestic and International tourism.

Whilst it’s still early days, it’s definitely moving in the right direction for most but as always stay updated as we all know how quickly rules can change.

The HOTA (Home of the Arts) Gallery is a great new addition to the Gold Coast tourism offering opening in early May 2021. ATEC Southern Qld organized a members site inspection today of the $60m Gallery and the rooftop cafe and cocktail bar. A wide range of art works for all ages and over the weekend Amy Shark is performing next door at the auditorium. Make sure you check it out on your next visit - free admission and open every day from 10am - 5pm and Fridays till 8pm.

Great news this afternoon with New Zealand & Australia confirming the new trans-Tasman bubble allowing unrestricted travel between Australian and New Zealand borders from 18 April.

According to The Australian, Australian P.M. Scott Morrison said the new agreement means more planes in the air, more jobs on the ground and in the air as well for our airlines.

Great news for the inbound tourism sector in Australia and NZ and we trust this is the start of the return of International travel.
