♦️Jackpot.

Qantas only flies Sydney ↔ Las Vegas seasonally, and we haven’t seen much Business Class reward seat availability on this route since it was announced…

💡 Booking Tip: Don’t assume you need to start in Sydney. If you’re based in Brisbane, Melbourne or another Eastern city, you can often add a domestic Business Class connection onto the same booking for no extra Qantas Points (subject to availability).

I’ve helped thousands of Australians maximise their points and travel in Business and First Class for a fraction of the usual cost.

This is what points are all about…

First Class to Los Angeles using Qantas Points 🍾

These seats are rare, especially with 2 available on the same flight.

Cash fares can push a crazy $19,000+ for this flight… so this is where you can save a serious amount using points.

You’ll start your journey in style at the Qantas First Lounge — think à la carte dining and a spa treatment before you even board.

Have you flown First Class before? Or is this on your list? 👇

⚠️ Just a reminder that having points doesn’t guarantee reward seats. My advice is to make sure you’ve done the maths, remain flexible on travel plans and researched availability before buying.

🚨 BIG news for points lovers…

The Reserve Bank of Australia has just announced they will remove those pesky 'hidden' surcharges on debit and credit cards from 1 October 2026, across networks including eftpos, Mastercard and Visa.

They’ll also aim to reduce & cap the interchange fees in the background (from ~0.8% down to ~0.3%).

So less fees seems great right?!?

Well perhaps… BUT these interchange fees in particular help to fund the entire points and rewards ecosystem.

So this could lead to some negative changes for those who maximise reward programs.

👇💬 Welcome to share any thoughts below...keen to hear both sides.

You’ll earn 7 Qantas Points per $1 spent on bookings.

Points Club Plus members earn +50% bonus

Unfortunately it looks like the Triple Points offers might have also been 'enhanced' since it's been 6+ months since the last one 🥲

Key details:
🔹 Book by 25 March 2026
🔹 Travel until 25 March 2027
🔹 Points usually credited within 8 weeks after checkout

For those with Qantas Business Rewards, you can earn up to 10 pts/$1 booking via your QBR account.

As always I advise shopping around and comparing prices - don't just chase the points. It may/may not make sense to book via Qantas.
