Today our group had the privilege of hearing from Dee Wakefield on a topic that doesn't get talked about enough - personal safety and why most of us are wired to walk straight into danger without recognising it.

Dee explored why our instincts are actually one of our greatest protective tools and why we've been socially conditioned to override them in the name of being polite.

Gavin de Becker's work is the place to start. His masterclass and resources are free at 👉 https://giftoffear.com

Please share this with the women (and men!) in your life. Your daughter/son, your mum/dad, your colleague or your friend. This is the kind of knowledge that stays with you.

Dee has over two decades of experience in safety and security - including executive protection, VIP logistics and digital safety. She holds an international CPO qualification and has worked in executive protection since 2011. She is also the founder of ElderGuard, a digital safety consultancy helping Australians stay safer online. Email Dee on [email protected] if you would like to know more.

The 2026 Metcash Food Expo at the Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre was one of our busiest few days ever!

Our team was kept on the move transporting business exhibitors and guests to and from Gold Coast and Brisbane Airports, making sure everyone arrived comfortably and on time.

Saturday night was a particular highlight. One of our valued regular clients entrusted us with 30 transfers, moving 118 of their top clients to and from the famous Rick Shores Restaurant in Burleigh Heads for a very special evening. 🥂

With plenty of vehicles, guests and tight timings to coordinate, everything ran smoothly from start to finish — and most importantly, our client was extremely happy with the result.

We're especially proud that this is the third year in a row they've trusted Elite Transfers to handle transportation for this prestigious event.

From individual airport transfers to large-scale corporate movements, we have the experience, vehicles and team to make it happen.

Planning a conference or corporate event on the Gold Coast or in Brisbane? Talk to Elite Transfers about your transport requirements.

✨ That VIP feeling starts the moment you arrive…

When my husband and I walked into the arrivals hall and saw our Elite Transfers chauffeur standing there, smartly dressed in a suit and holding an iPad with my name on it, I felt so special.

It genuinely made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up! ❤️

After a long journey, there’s something wonderful about knowing someone is there waiting just for you. No stress. No searching for a taxi. Just a warm welcome and a smooth journey ahead.

It’s not just a transfer. It’s the feeling of being looked after.

🚘 Elite Transfers — arrive in style.
