200 Kenworths and counting!

We're proud to take delivery of our 200th Kenworth, marking a relationship with Brown and Hurley forged over decades & generations.

Two family businesses. Decades of trust, loyalty and service.

The milestone truck features a commemorative quote from Jim Hurley, that sums the journey perfectly:
"I called on Frasers for 21 years before they bought a new Kenworth. The first truck was in ’86 and we’ve been doing business with them ever since. Loyal people, it’s hard to get them as customers to start with but if you look after them, well they stay loyal to you."

People doing business with people. We are proud of the milestone and even prouder of the relationship.

Warwick's weekly sheep sale is one of the highlights of our week. It's all hands on deck as the team works together to keep everything moving, with Ross and Les leading the way and every piece of the puzzle falling into place.

Our Green Teamers are right in the thick of it, helping load the trucks, while the workshop crew put the tools down and the wash bay team step away from their jobs to lend a hand. It's a true team effort to get every sheep safely loaded and on the road to their destination.

👋 MEET THE TEAM – ATHOL CARTER 👋

The LRTAQ is proud to introduce Athol Carter, our Fitzroy Delegate and a highly respected leader within Australia's livestock transport industry.

Athol works with Frasers Livestock Transport and brings decades of practical experience, industry knowledge, and advocacy to the LRTAQ Executive Committee. As the representative for the Fitzroy region, he plays an important role in ensuring the voices of transport operators are heard and reflected in industry discussions and decision-making.

In addition to his role with LRTAQ, Athol serves as a Director of the Queensland Trucking Association (QTA) and is currently the Vice President and ATA representative of the Australian Livestock and Rural Transporters Association (ALRTA). And a past Vice Chair of TruckSafe Animal Welfare. These leadership positions are a testament to the respect he has earned across the transport industry and his commitment to advancing positive outcomes for operators nationwide.

Athol's extensive experience, practical approach, and passion for the livestock transport sector make him a valuable advocate for our members and the broader industry. Whether contributing to policy discussions, representing operators on key issues, or supporting fellow transporters, he is dedicated to ensuring a strong and sustainable future for livestock transport.

We thank Athol for his ongoing commitment to LRTAQ and his tireless efforts to support and strengthen our industry.

👏 Please join us in recognising Athol Carter and thanking him for his service to Queensland's livestock transport community and the wider transport industry.

As part of this year's we entered the Yarnbombed tree exhibition. The theme was "Jam".

When most people hear the word Jam, they think of fruit preserves. We've taken a different approach.
Our interpretation is jam as a verb: to pack tightly, fill to capacity, or be bursting with activity. And nothing says "jam-packed" quite like a day in the livestock industry.
As livestock transporters, our days are often filled with sheep, movement, and action. These pom-pom sheep represent the flocks that are part of our everyday world, creating a tree that's truly jam-packed with woolly passengers.
The story of this tree is a celebration of family and community. Fraser's staff and their families came together to create these sheep, with pom-poms made everywhere from the administration office and operations room to the workshop, fabrication bay, and family dining tables.
Along the way, children, parents, grandparents, and even a few unsuspecting grown men discovered a hidden talent for sheep crafting. Some sheep are even named after their makers as a tribute to the many hands involved.
Together, we've created a flock that's jam-packed with sheep, creativity, and community spirit.

Ok lads, take advantage of this fantastic health service in a town near you - and follow It's a Bloke Thing to see their upcoming testing dates!

This July, our mobile PSA testing clinics are heading to communities across regional and rural Queensland, making it easier for men to access a simple test that could save their life.

The reality is that men living in regional and rural Australia are more likely to die from prostate cancer than those in metropolitan areas—largely because it's often diagnosed later.

That's why, together with Heart of Australia and supported by the Prostate Cancer Foundation of Australia, we're taking testing directly to the communities that need it most.

âś… Walk-ins are welcome.
📞 Prefer to book? Contact the Heart of Australia team on 07 3162 5310.

If we're coming to your town, make the time to get checked—and encourage your dad, brother, mate, neighbour or workmate to do the same.

Early detection saves lives.
