Today we have a picturesque shot from Moree, on our way through to Newcastle this evening.

This week saw Daphne out with the double for the first time, returning some pretty impressive fuel figures.

We were in QLD most of the week, with deliveries to Brisbane Airport. Blackwater, Emerald, Surat and a shuttle of 2 trips from Brisbane to Broadwater in NSW.

Below are a few photos taken just downstream from Carnarvon Gorge, showing off the varied and beautiful country, and then a couple of shots of the less glamorous side of the job at the BP Truckstop at Ballina.

The week ahead looks extremely busy with Daphne and I venturing to Surat in Southern Central QLD, then on to Moree, Foster region, the Central Coast NSW and then back to QLD with a quick dash to Brisbane and Toowoomba before finishing the week out with a Sydney pick up for a full b-double load to Adelaide for the following week.

Busy times ahead, great to see economy starting to show signs of life.

We are a family owned business looking for drivers who want to be part of the team

We currently run a fleet of cab over Prime movers, drop decks with bi fold ramps, a sideloader and soon to add a flat top trailer as well.

We typically move trucks, civil, construction, agricultural machinery, containers and more throughout the eastern states.

We are happy to go through load restraint training with you, as long as you are willing to have a go and also have a positive attitude with the occasional need for problem solving.

We are happy to support you and see you grow in this industry, as your growth supports our growth.

We have a truck ready to hit the road just back from the mechanic and a freshen up, but we are also about to get another truck back on the road in the next week or so.

Today sees 'Daphne' have her company identity applied. From tomorrow she will be plying the highways on the east coast with her first run a short hop to the central coast then off to Queensland.

Whilst not completely finished off yet, she will get all of the features of the other trucks in terms of bling lighting as well as functional equipment such as work lights, large light bar, flashing beacons, Oversize signage etc.

I will continue to give updates on how she is progressing and if all the computer technology actually stands up to the claims of reduced fuel consumption.

We are creating new roles within the company and as such have a vacancy for a HC operator, and an MC operator based in Goulburn NSW - 5 days a week interstate running.

About the role.....

Do you posses a great attitude, a willingness to learn, great attention to detail and willing to go the extra mile to do the best job you can do?

Do you have experience in either sideloader work or in machinery transport of various types?

If so, we are looking for you to join our team!

C-Star Logistics and Transport are a Goulburn NSW based specialised transport provider. We provide low loader, drop deck, drop deck widener and sideloader services across the eastern states of Australia.
Typically we move tractors, trucks, farm equipment, civil plant, containers and other specialised mobile plant equipment.
We are currently looking for new members to join our close knit team.

Your duties would include driving a modern automatic truck, loading and unloading of consignments, restraining of consignments and communicating with customers and staff whilst keeping yourself and your vehicle in a neat and presentable manner. Feel free to discuss your skill set with us and any questions you may have. Our trailers are modern with all the bells and whistles, along with load restraint on board designed to make your job as easy as possible.

In return you will be offered a very attractive remuneration package, with great flexibility. Our pay structure includes a base retainer and km rate. Pay rates can be discussed upon contact, however we are flexible and willing to pay top $ for top operators. The more skills, dedication and professionalism you bring to the company, the more money you are worth to us. We are looking for long term employees who are after a company they can become part of and help us reach our potential as we grow.

Applicants would ideally have a HC/MC license, experience in machinery transport, long distance work and have excellent communication skills

A forklift license is also a bonus, but willing to train for the right candidate.

Chris and I got roped into helping out a mate (a company we have worked with before) take one of 76 loads from Horsham VIC to Cairns QLD

We had one of the boom sections loaded today and are bringing back to NSW

Some of our weekend shenanigans…. 🤦‍♀️😩😉😝
